    ...if I had to say which book gave me the most readding enjoyment and pure entertainment then I'd say Larry McMurtry's Lonesome Dove, the original version.

    I don't normally read a book more than once, there are just too many out there that need reading. But a few I have read numerous times would be Atlas Shrugged by Anne Rand, The Stand by Steven King, and, of course, Lonesome Dove.

    Ooops. meant to put this under the best book thread. Sorry.;Q

    I thought "The Stand" by Stephen King was really good, until the end. It is almost like he ran out of steam writing it. This whole, huge build up, and then BAM, it is all over. I was just expecting something, anything else.
