Last Jan 1, local akyat bahay dudes broke into my house and got away with a few valuables
I arrived , bukas ang pinto
After an " oh $hit " moment, i went inside hoping the bastard was still there. Wala
Called the cops. Had the mayor call the cops
An investigator arrived, plus the local hepe ng tanod

both mentioned a name that was the leader of the local akyat bahays
Now, if they knew the name and address, why wasnt his *** in jail?
Went back for a police report, and the investigator told me , dumami na raw mga suspect.
In short, he doesnt have a clue who did it

ever felt rage? I can do someything about it
Kaso takot lang ako ma karma for a such small amout hehehe

    I cant resist pa rin
I putting my my bike outside the house
    It's the bait
And if he/they come back, "that which cannot be discussed nor contemplated in this forum" ang mangyayari

How did the perps bypass your locks? What was the point of entry and around what time did it occur? Did they enter while someone you know is inside the house (relatives)?

Yes, I can understand the rage this incident will bring.

I'm sorry to hear about the break-in at your place. The citizenry and the government must really work together to address the problem of criminality :(

Well, my locl\ks consisted of a doorknob and eerrr... a good lookin lock that would probably break open if you breath on it.
He used a screwdriver and an ATM
Yea, I was careless...which is part of the reason I'm pi$$ed
It wasnt really my house, it's an aprtment I use lang
Nagkataon, wala mga neighbors, kasi xmas vacation at the time.
Time was around 7pm, kasi a friend passed by and said it was dark. Pero I left the light open.

    Allegra,

I can understand your rage too. I have to deal with it each and everyday. Please forgive me, but I feel obiged to tell you not to take the law into your own hands. Look on the bright side because if you go through with this, believe me, it's more trouble than it's worth!

If you want, you can PM me so we could discuss this some more. Hope you replaced your locks, and get a good guard dog.:)

Allegra, you are skirting on planning to hurt somebody using bait and all. IOW, you are just stopping short of talking about the M word. While I agree with you that these scumbags need to die of Plumbum overdose, dicussing things like this in a public forum can get you in deeeeeeeep doodoo in the event that something DOES happen to the BG.

I've had orchids, LPG tanks, garden equipment stolen ...repeatedly.
The Holy Week last year I came into violent, if brief, physical contact with one of two greased-up intruders in our garage, even while I was armed with my BERSA. They were literally piss-scared as they fled, and haven't come back in all the months since.

I honestly don't know what I would do post-break-in of my 'vacation house', Allegra.

However, setting aside premeditated unmentionables and incontemplibles...
Leaving bait OUTSIDE the house is worse than useless, since any attempt to steal it cannot readily be touted as grave threat to the firearms holders INSIDE the house.

I'm thankful that only property, and neither life nor limb was lost.

    Aaaaarrrrggghh......hehe
Panay na nga simba ko nang makunsyansya ako eh hehe
Decent people ( decent daw siya! :)) have moral issues pa, while the BG's wala ng isip isip, titrahin ka na basta may pagkakataon
Well, it's been 2 weeks, no sign of mr. AB
Giginawin lang yung bike ko, itgil na nga kalokohan :)
Pero if a suspicious lookin dude ay tumambay sa area smelling of cool water, sasabunutan ko yun!

    Syet, bad trip yang ganyan.

A few years ago, somebody broke into our apartment. Sinira mismo yung front door in front of the neighbors. Kaso lunch time and weekday so both me and my wife were in the office. Fortunately, he seemed to be looking for something and did not take anything. If only he'd stayed a couple more minutes...:(

That's really tough. I thnk I posted in some long past thread that my house was burglarized maybe 30 years ago. We found out after the burglary that some guys in barong tagalogs had gone around the neighborhood, claiming they were bank credit investigators, asking things like did my wife and I both work, what time did we leave in the morning, what time did we come home at night, etc. It wouldn't surprise me if someone had been observing your place for a while before the break in.

but then, it could have been just a random on-the-spot decision.

What I didn't like was the feeling that the BGs (there were apparently 3 of them) had been through our personal things. Stole our dog too.

Your anger will subside in due course. Happens to practically everybody.

He was a cute little puppy. No tail. The burglars must have liked him too, or thought he was valuable (not particularly.)

Still, I second the suggestion - above - to get a dog. Since the burglary, I have always had at least one, ususally 2 or 3. Small yappers. All you want is noise.
