Yeah......why would anyone go with a knock-off for the same price, that's not proven? I'd sure as heck take the Walther rather than the Magnum Research version of it. :faint:

In fact, check out the logo/link at the bottom of this page: http://www.carl-walther.de/

It would kind of make sense now that S&W is busy with the M&P series.

That is what I thought. What the hell is the "new Baby Desert Eagle" $540 or the Walther P99QA $603 and the S&W P99 is no longer shown in my catalog. I guess I will stick to Glocks.

yeah since I dont think that they needed to come up with another pistol since they no longer import the Jericho series pistols anymore. I just cant see them selling many of them when they arent alot cheaper than the Walther branded gun.

Since, MRI is no longer importing the IWI Jericho pistols (which MRI sold as the "Baby Eagle"/"Baby Desert Eagle"), MRI looked to another source for their "Baby Desert Eagle" line of pistols.

Recently, MRI worked out a deal to import Walther P99s, which MRI had rebranded as the new "Baby Desert Eagle".

Magnum Research Inc = pimping the "Desert Eagle" brand name on everything they sell.
