Give your wife that pop gun and get yourself a true mangun, a G27. :tongueout:

Seriously, you're gonna enjoy the heck out of it. Welcome to the club.

So did I! Bought it for the GF and we both love it but I want a G27.

Mattyd, don't get another G26. Instead get a G27 and LoneWolf G26 barrel. That was you can shoot some .40 if your feeling froggy. If not, pop in the conversion barrel and have some 9mm fun with the wife.

I've heard you might have to swap out more things with the 9mm barrel. That's the only reason I didn't get the G27. I kind of regret it lol

Congratulations and welcome. Enjoy that G26 of yours. In my opinion, it's the most versatile Glock made. Takes all the higher cap mags (if necessary) and eats hot ammo like it's going out of style. I own two 26s and one goes with me everywhere.

What all do I need if I get a 27 to convert it over to be able to shoot 9mm? I like that idea....any idea what it costs to have all the stuff you need to do so?
Does it function as reliable at a 26?
    Thanks.
