Florida is getting better as far as time goes also. I got mine last year here in FL and it took 8 days to get it in the mail. They have made it easier to submit the aplication and fingerprints here, it can all be done electronicly and takes a fraction of the time. If you send the app. away in the mail though it is a 3 - 4 month wait still (atleat that's their estemate).

My neighbor just got hers. Took 4 months.

Last year my 4th renewal took 4.5 months.

Maybe someone is finally getting on the DPS ***.

In Missouri they send a renewal notice. You go to the sheriff's office and chat with the deputy while he fills out the paper work, you pay him and leave. You take paperwork to DMV and have the plastic made. Total time approximately 30 minutes not counting driving to and from. Any way this has been my experience. Missouri is good on this.:wavey:
