Hey Gang, This is another installment in my occasional exotic car driving posts. Earlier this week I was invited to one of the first Ferrari Roma test drive events. From Car and Driver: " Stuffed under the Roma's lengthy hood and mounted near the middle of the car is a turbocharged 3.8-liter V-8 that makes 611 horsepower and 561 lb-ft of torque. It pairs with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (a.k.a. DCT) that debuted on the even more exotic Ferrari SF90 Stradale." The car is beautiful and great fun to drive. When I floored it the rear tiers spun - it had so much power I thought that the front end would go up. SUCH a fun GT car!!!! I've driven the Lusso as well which is AWD. The Roma is a very different experience. It's extremely fast, surprisingly agile, very comfortable and just beautiful. The one that I drove was a very high end spec for a Roma. I absolutely love how it was specd. As speced this (Eruro) model was about $300K. Some pics ..... This is somewhat unlike the treatment that I get at the Toyota dealer..
