Since I picked up a used Gen3 G35 last month it seems I'm liking the longer barrel pistols lately, and I've got some mild interest surfacing in the G41.

Dayam if they aren't a wee bit on the pricy side though at close to $650 new :( ...I've been doing well finding used Glocks but I don't recall having seen any G41's for sale in my neck of the woods, new or otherwise - ever...

So if you've got one, speak up and make some comments about it, and please post up some pics, you know, to help me along. Thanks :D

I really like mine. Great shooter. Got it LE so it was a good deal. I would of bought it without the LE pricing though. I like the long Glocks as well. I will PM you a link to one for sale in our local gun shop you may be interested in.

I have one, too - it was the gun that enticed me all the way back to Glock after a decade shooting M&Ps. It’s a blue label gun to which I added a minus connector and OEM extended slide stop plus a set of Dawson Precision adjustable sights. It’s a hell of a shooter, and it fits my hand much better than the 21.2 I’ve had since 1992.

    Me too.
Great shooter for accuracy and soft recoil.
    Feels good in my hand.
Of my nine Glocks, the 41 is one of my top two favorites.

There are a couple used ones for sale near me for around $500. Its tempting as I don't currently have a .45 Glock. But I kind of want a 21 or 30 so I can do 10mm.

Best fullsize stock Glock out there. It's selling for almost $700 here. You can get a XD or MP for $350-450. Yet they sit all dusty and s%^&, on the shelf.

    +accurate
+decent trigger out of the box
+big round grip makes recoil easy on your hands
+13 round mags. Same as my CCW G23, so great for consistencies sake.
+I use the medium beavertail, and the large beaver tail on my G34. I may put the large back on the G41, if it'll fit the IDPA box.
    +recoil isn't bad at all
+same exact size as my 1911. Half the weight. It's a significant weight loss.
+if you get a Kydex G41 OWB hollster from Ravens or KT, all of your other normal 9mm, .40, .357 Glocks will fit it. When I compete, I use the G41 holster always. I choose the pistol after I see who's shooting in what class.

-nobody makes a brass or aluminum magwell for the G41 or G21.4 with back straps. We need a magwell bad. Dawson, are ye listening?
-Sights are crap. Adjustable rear sight had it shooting hard left. Knocked it off and put on Warren Sevigny comps.
-had to flush the trigger, undercut the right side of the trigger guard to relieve Glock Knuckle.
    -it's 1/4" longer than a G34, it won't fit a G34/G35 holster.

Well I saw four G41's yesterday at a local gun show, all NIB, and I purchased the lowest priced one there...for $529 + tax, which is a far cry from the mid $600 prices I'd been seeing around the 'net.

She's a beauty. It feels good in hand and I like the narrower slide, and it's got only a tiny pignose, certainly not enough to bother me. It feels right at home with my other longer slide models...

I can't wait to try it out and send a few downrange. Thanks all for the positive reviews and comments about the G41, you're all a terrible influence :D

Just love mine. If you get a chance put a full size Government Model next to it. All the good and none of the bad. What the hay, here are some photos.

I bought mine last year. It was my first Glock.

I forgot to add. Aside from the Kriss mags (which are badass!!) I also have 5 mags with Taran Tactical +4 extensions. Having 17+1 rounds of .45 feels like manning an artillery battlement.

I believe that KKM makes a conversion barrel to 10mm for the G 41

I seem to like the long glocks as well, 17L, 34, 40, 41. The 41 is the only 45 I own and I love how it shoots.

We own 3 G41's. One of them I bought for my son 'cause he didn't have the cash to get it, himself. Then he got with a girl that didn't want a gun in the house, so he never made any 'repayments'. I was going to trade or sell it, but the G41 is my woods pistol, so I don't mind having a spare. The third one is right here at my desk keeping me from absolute loneliness. It has 185 gr Magtechs in it that I'm getting around 1170 fps, on average. Expanding to 3/4", they are going to hurt.

I've handled a 41 and won't one bad. Asked my dealer to order on for me with MOS but he hasn't gotten back to me yet.

    Gonna pester him some more.
