Is it true that cleaner with Teflon lubrication will weaken a polymer frame and cause it to become brittle?

Not Teflon itself, but the carrier (petroleum or solvent) can cause this problem.

There are really two major ways polymers can become damaged: Plasticising in which the polymer is reduced in a solvent, and Environmental Stress Cracking.

I haven't had a problem like that in the 13 years that I have owned Glocks.
