On Saturday, relatives had continued their frantic search for Valenti, who they said apparently suffered a manic episode early in the week, telling them in a string of bizarre phone calls that “it’s all a game, it’s a thought experiment, we’re in the Matrix.”

Her husband said she had no history of mental illness.

Scott Adams (the Dilbert cartoonist) says that it’s unlikely that we’re not in a simulation. IMO, this is the kind of thinking (in part) that allows people to carry out murder sprees. Is it wrong for a simulated person to end other simulated people, after all? Isn’t that just the result of the simulation, anyway?

Seems like drugs. Sad, a friend may have been able to help her through it. The parents said they talked for hours on the phone, I'm sure they would have asked if it was drugs.

I've seen a kid hallucinate some really weird stuff, not sure what he took, but it messed his mind for a day.

Someone said in the comments that she had formerly worked for Overstock.com. An interview with their newly resigned CEO on Fox got really weird with him making some accusations against the cabal that is trying to take down Trump.

    https://www.foxnews.com/media/patrick-byrne-overstock-claims-interview-politics

"It's all the top [people]," he said. "I didn't know who sent the orders, but I did them. Last summer, watching television and some congressional hearings, I figured out where these orders came from. They came from a guy named Peter Strzok." Byrne also named other individuals, with MacCallum reminding him those officials or former officials worked at the FBI.

MacCallum asked Byrne what Strzok purportedly asked him to do. Byrne did not describe specific actions he was allegedly told to take, but characterized them as "political espionage."

That’s some serious viral marketing for the Matrix 4 which is coming next year.

Sounds like she may not have been as happy or sound as her husband thought.

I think the opposite way. Even if this is simulated it could be a test for moving on to the next level or not. Murder sprees is probably a big fat FAIL.

Anyway, the whole simulation hypothesis exists because we really have no clue what this all is and we are just grasping for theories. The deeper we dig the more we don't know.
