First, let me say I have attended two Tea Party gatherings and I fully support the concepts being promoted. So, I am very disappointed in the outcomes of many Hoosier primary elections. The Tea Party sympathizers flooded the ballot with multiple candidates watering down their votes. This resulted in Coats getting through instead of one of the more up-to-date and younger conservatives like Stutzman. Burton survived an onslaught of conservative challengers by the skin of his teeth because of votes being distributed to several opponents instead of concentrated in one. And in my home 7th district where we need a strong fresh candidate to fight the uphill battle against Prince Carson, a three way race denied the nomination of a bright young star in Carlos May resulting in the victory of re-tread and five time loser, Marvin Scott. We screwed up bad folks. I hope a lesson is learned for the November elections.
