Taurus Tcp & Taurus cs Problems!

I purchased a Tcp in Jan. Never shot it before but wanted a small summer pocket get off me pistol. First time shooting slide failed to lock back on both mags. A couple fte but nothing big.

I call Taurus they send fedex to pick up gun. I get it back 6 weeks later and it fails to fire! Fails to chamber round But wait lock slides back now. I call Taurus back for the 2nd time and the rep tells me he doesn't know what to do, they test fire every gun before it leaves. I tell him give me your manager and send fedex here. This is unacceptable and needs fixing or send me a new one. How can I trust my life with a gun that is a paperweight? I might as well carry 2 rocks! When it comes back in working condition I will be replacing it with an ruger lcr.

Got one two weeks ago. Slide not locking back a minor magazine issue that has a fix on Taurusarmed.net. Did not need to be returned. Fails to chamber could be an ammo problem.

I've had zero problems with mine except for the mag fix after 200 rounds of 4 different kinds of ammo.

Much less recoil than Ruger plus the slide back on last shot. If I were you, I would put different ammo through it. Does need a break in period, but a much better shooter than the Ruger.
Another Taurus winner. I hope they get it taken care of for you. I agree with you about dumping it after it's fixed.
I hear so many complaints about Taurus that I believe
they have beaten out KelTec as the worst firearms manufacturer.

I bought my TCP a weeks ago also. It ran 100% out of the box with PMC Bronze, Corbon Power Ball, Remington Golden Saber and some stuff that I have never heard of (Heritage???). Mine had a minor issue with the mag locking back with one round left. I did the fix from Taurus Armed.net and it went away. I have about 300 rounds through it and do trust my life to it.

Of course, if I head to downtown Atlanta I still carry my FNP40 loaded with Federal HSTs and a spare mag.
The sad thing is i really, really like the tcp vs lcp vs p3at. I love 2 mags, the pda holster is ok. I'm really hoping that it comes back working. Summer is right around the corner and the tcp would fit great in my pocket.
My new TCP was 100% reliable out of the box, no failures with 100 rounds down the pipe. I have had several Taurus handguns and have had no problems with any of them.

I talked to bunch of people no problems with tcp. We have a Taurus revolver no problems. It's just a hit and miss.
My bddy just got one...wanted a LCP the shop didnt have one but they had the Taurus..we shot it the other day and it ran almost 100% it was New out of the box never fired..we had 2 FTF in the first 20 rounds(rounds 3 and 17) and then after that for the rest of the 100 brick of WWB it ran 100% I kinda forgot how snappy the little .380 can be lol...thought I was shooting 9mm :)
Mine runs great from the very start. The early pistols had some problems though.

You don't. This is not just this Taurus, but for any brand out there. Find something that works for you.
I trust mine!! 400 rounds and not one failue.
Loved my TCP, it was flawless but sold it (Too small for my sausages)
Welcome to the world of really small autopistols.

Good post, the smaller you get the more problems you have.

But I dislike Taurus anyways, all Taurus does is make clones and gimmicks.
Except Taurus revolvers, they make good revolvers.

Yeah but even the revolvers are just Smith & Wesson clones or gimmicks like the Judge.
