I bought it for P25,741 last November 2005. Did I make the right decision?

    Please see attachment.

Similar to what I have but mine is in 9mm.

Good as a carry gun due to its safety features (DA, ambi safety etc). Especially that what you have is the rust resistant version.

    Yup, that's a good gun.

I have a PT111 Millennium, and it was my carry gun back in the days when a PTC didn't cost an arm and a leg.

I hope that Taurus has improved the quality of its sights though. The white dots on my Millennium fell out after 300 rounds, but this was easily remedied by applying bright paint to the hollow portion of the sights.

The stainless finish on my Taurus guns have held up well over the years, in spite of the sweat and humidity that comes with concealed carry.

Just a few thousands higher and you should have bought the glock. On the other hand, just a few thousands less and you'll be enjoying a norinco. tsk tsk tsk

basta happy ka, ayos yan! but if you'll be using it for IPSC, there are other ideal game guns :)

But it will be much lighter to carry than a Norinco Commander. I like full sized guns for carry but the weight is sometimes really a bother. I think the PT945 falls into the SIG P220 and Colt Lightweight Commander category except that its much cheaper than both.

If weight is an issue, didn't I recommend a Glock?
