at least with 14 rounds thru it anyway :)

Against my better judgement, I picked up a 709 Slim this morning, and stepped outside to put a couple mags thru it.

    I just might like this....

They don't get much respect. However, I love their revolvers.
Good luck with your gun, it probably is a winner and won't give you
a bit of trouble. Nice to look at too!

The only other Taurus I own is a Titanium Tracker in 41 mag. Shoots the first few round fine, then the cylinder locks up. After it cools down, its fine again.

So this one is a hope and pray for sure...

From what I understand, Taurus is starting to manufacture some of its models in Miami, FL. The new Taurus TCP (their answer to an LCP), is being made in the good old USA. Time will tell if the re-location of manufacture will make a difference in the quality and reliability. I will say that the TCP I handled felt BETTER, and had a better fit and finish than my Ruger LCP......price was very competitive as well.

    Not my image....

    Says "Made In USA".....
