What retail store has the best selection of tall sizes such as large/tall or XL/tall? I have a lanky tall build and usually have to buy xl size for the length in the arm. This size is too big for me in the chest and too short for me in height. I need to find 'tall' sizes. I run into them occasionally at my normal TJ Maxx, Marshals etc. but I need a better selection.

Tall sizes can be a pain in the butt to find in a lot of places. I'm not too tall..(6'2" and 195 lbs) but unless I get a tall shirt, the sleeves are always too short and the shirt tails won't stay tucked into my pants.

Best place I've found for work and sports wear is Cabelas. (on-line shopping) For dress shirts JC Penny usually has a good assortment.

A lot of department stores carry sized on their websites that they don't always have in the stores. I buy XL-Tall stuff at Dillard's, but I don't recall seeing any L-Tall there.

    You should ask this guy.

Seriously though, have you checked the phone book under 'men's clothing?' A large metro area like yours should even have a separate listing for tall men.

I was also thinking of stores where some Miami professional sports teams might shop. I once shopped at a nice Cleveland store where some of the Cleveland Browns bought their clothes.

You should ask Thornton Melon, Founder of "Tall and Fat" as he went Back to School...

I have a 37" inseam and 37" sleeve length. I shop JC Penny catalogue sales for Levis (yes, I know they're anti gun, but I need jeans). They used to sell Dockers for x-tra tall men, but I don't see that so much anymore.

Go online and get their Big and Tall catalogue. They might have some of what you want.

Land's End, L.L. Bean, and Eddie Bauer all carry tall sizes starting at M-Tall. I wear the aforementioned size which is often a PITA to find in most stores, but I've had good luck with these stores as well as Cabela's.

Casual Male store. I am 6'4'' 270lbs. Finding a shirt that fits my arm length is a PITA! I just gave a whole bag of dress shirts to the Goodwill because they must of shrunk in the arms.

I buy most of my clothes from Cabelas.com. I wear 36"x36" jeans and khakis, and XLT in shirts and jackets. The Cabelas brand shirts and khakis and the Carharts brand for jeans all fit me perfectly. I also have a Carharts Detroit jacket in XLT that is right on fit wise. FWIW, I'm 6'6" 17 1/2" neck x 37 sleeve length.

+1. I have a JC Penny Catalog outlet store in town and it is the best place I know to get big and tall clothes.

Yeah, it's a pain in the butt. If you're talking cheap clothes.. old navy online. Find the stuff you like in the store, then order it in "tall sizes" from their website. that's what I have to do, as well as my brother. (I'm just 6'3".. my brother is 6'8")
