Currently I have a Carry Optics Shadow 2 and a Production Shadow 2.

I just bought a pair of Limited TSOs off a gamer.

I don’t think I have the time or patience to get much past “A” level in my primary division.

And I like variety... so I was thinking of trying to be an across the board “Paper A” shooter in all divisions (including revolver).

In general, I’m sticking with CZs for interchange of parts and magazines.

My thought is to either make one of the TSOs like a major version of carry optics to shoot in open.

Or just get a gun I could compete in open with...

So what say ye, GT? Buy or not buy?

I don't know anything about competition, but I'd buy that gun just cause it looks sexy!

I'd probably send a SP-01 to Cajun Gun Works along with a big check and make it how I wanted.

OK, why not build a real open gun?

Sorry, I’m an Enabler, not a negative Nancy. If you have the financial wherewithal, go for it. I’ve not looked into them very much but the little I’ve read certainly seems very complimentary of those pistols.

They are great shooters for sure. It’s just a ton of money for a CZ.

I almost bought one a couple of times.

As a well known CZ lover, it pains me to say this, but apparently the comp only works with hot ammo. Not a big deal if you reload, or have regular access to hot ammo, but that would keep me from buying it. I like being able to shoot anything.

If you can find a preowned one, even better.

If you can afford it, why not?
