Found a LNIB Gen4 with Nightsights installed... Guy quoted me $525... I told him hold it for me until Saturday Morning... Should be interesting. I'm leaning to this over a G21SF model for the fact of:
-Glock Gen4 21 is what I really want in a Full Sized Glock 4-5
-Gen4 G34/35's are not that common around my parts.

He had a Glock 21SF with nightsights for the same price $525.00 you guys think I'm making the right decision? I'm thinking I come out more ahead by getting the G34 b/c of the acurized trigger, extended slide stop and barrel. Decisions regarding your next Glock are HARD, but exciting!!

No Glock comes with an 'accurized' trigger. Not even certain what that may mean. Red label 34s and 35s should come with a minus (-) 4.5# connector and extended controls. Blue labels will typically NOT come stock with the (-) connector.

Regardless, accuracy is up to you and many find that they shoot a G17 as well as a G34.

Go for it get the 34 it cost alot less to feed. I'm leaning towards the 34 also as my next GSSF coupon purchase .

    Both are excellent choices.

I usually go for 9mm myself.

Excellent choice ! Make sure it has a test fire date on the spent cases of at least November 2011.

If it's new it'll have a small brown envelope with a spent casing inside, the test fired date will be on that envelope.

Hey BAC... What's the deal about Pre November '11 G34's is it a RSA issue that plagued the G17/19's...?

Any time I see a thread like this, my first impulse is to ask "what do you want to do with it?"

If you shoot competitively, get a long 9mm. (is it true that the 17L is too long for some venues?)

For CCW, biggest caliber, strongest gun you can handle and conceal well.

If it is a post-Nov.2011 gun, it "should" have the updated RSA, ejector, and extractor. That doesnt mean it will run flawlessly, but, there is a much better chance that it will. Mine was made in Jan.2012 and has been absolutely perfect.

BTW, Thats a great price for that 34. I paid $589.00 for mine and thought it was a good deal. Mine did not come with night sights but, I wanted Dawson sights on it anyway.

I wouldn't buy a G34 soley on the assumption that it will have a better trigger.....

I just picked up a new Gen 4 G34 and it has the worst trigger of any Glock I own! I have not fired it or disassembled it yet, but it surely does NOT have a "-" connector in it? *edit* says "4.5" on the label...

Also does NOT have an extended mag catch, if they are supposed to have one. It does of course have the extended slide release.

I've ordered a "." connector and a factory Gen 4 extended mag catch for mine. Hopefully the new connector, some lube and shooting will improve the trigger.

On the plus side, the Gen 4 grip for me is much, much improved over the Gen 3's. Less Glock knuckle as well.

Hope to shoot it this weekend.....
