just one peice of advice...HAVE FUN!!:) there was a guy here that named his 29 "thumper" which is pretty cool i thought. he even had it engraved into the side of the slide. i started to call my 30 "little thumper" after i saw that. i hope he doesn't mind me copying!;P

Be careful, hunting with a 10 can be addictive! Get Some ammo and shoot the living hell out of that 29. The key is SHOT PLACEMENT! What do you plan to hunt? Match the load to the critter. I like TAC 200gr XTP's and Georgia Arms 155gr Gold dots. Get some orange hi-caps just cause there cool.

Don't let people tell you a 29 can't do it. I've taken deer bear and boar all with the 29. One more warning, if you don't already have one you will probably end up with a 20 as the 10mm addiction goes out of control! Good Luck!

they will get through some real thick hide. if your hunting something smaller, go with a good 155 gr. hollow point. keep your shots 10 yds+ or you'll get splattered!

If I'm not mistaken, KKM makes a 6" hunting barrel for the G29 as well.

And with that setup, you could take deer and hog!

    Yes,

I have the KKM 6" barrel in my G20. It's one heck of a nice piece of steel. Shoots real well.
