I need to replace my old worn out BDUs with some tactical style pants and I'm not sure which ones to get. I'd like a heavy cotton material... EOTAC, Woolrich Elite, Carhartt cargos? Suggestions appreciated.

I just bought two pairs of Wranglers cargo pants at Walmart. There is a large selection of solid colors and there may have been a type of camo but I am not sure on that one. They are very comfortable.

I had some tatical pants picked out to mail order when I saw these. Benefit is the price is around 15-16$ I believe. I was able to try them on right there for proper fit, and no shipping cost or having to wait for arrival.

I went into a pawn/gun shop [wearing the black ones I bought],which has a full service gun store in the back end of the store. I had never been there before and I was looking through the jewelery case when the employee looks at me pointing and says, "all the guns are through that door". I asked him how he knew I was looking for guns and he looked down and said, because of the pants you are wearing.

I found them in Walmart in the mens section by the jeans. There was an entire display of Wrangler cargo pants.

511 pants are the way to go. I have had over 10 pairs and won't wear anything else. Simple, practical, comfortable, long lasting pants.

    $29.99 Propper F5220 Tactical Pants

Propper makes uniforms for the military.

I wear the F5220s 4-5 days a week. They are nicely made. Great features/pockets. My only complaint is that they don't "breathe" as well as all-cotton BDUs.

I'm wearing a pair just like these. Right down to the same free belt. My wilderness belt is better though. I like them for the spare mag pocket, one less thing on my belt.

I like the 5.11 Tac lite pro pants. They are made with a rip stop material so if your pants rip somewhere the rip doesn't spread. I ripped part of my pants a few months ago and the rip has not spread at all. They also repel water and dry very quickly. I can pour a glass of water on my legs and 25% of the water will bounce off, the pants will then dry in 10-15 minutes. I love these pants, can you tell?
