    That does not look Philippine at all, and suggests more of
    someone's interpretation of a pulwar or talwar --but that
    doesn't mean it isn't old.

    I agree with one of the posters on your thread, though:
    Take it for ID over to SwordForums. Odds are someone
    there will lead you to a correct ID.

    Thanks a lot for your help. I am thinking it's from that area too. It's really quite interesting, most of the swords you see have one edge, this one has two.
