Who remembers and do they still have swoop circle at camp lejune where you go there and get a ride with other marines just about every state was there.Every weekend you could go and get a cheap ride.

In 66 it was $5 each way. Drop off in Atlanta at the old Gulf station across from the Varsity around 3 am Sat and leave no later than 3:15 pm Sun. And yes, a lot of guys were left behind!
We had a 50-100 mile limit for regular Liberty- I knew a guy who flew home to Texas twice a month!
