Even socialism rations things, Although their media doesn't use that word.
Socialism rations by definition.
So they're running out of other peoples money. I think Margaret Thatcher said something like that.
Socialism is the root of many problems and the rationing of medical services is only one of them.
Whenever government gets involved, there will be shortages of everything except taxes
“But they aren’t doing it right. If we did it, we’d do it correctly.” She was hawt, but dim as a 10watt bulb.
Kinda like going ti the VA..................................................................... Just sayin...........
The American left used to love to point to Sweden as a socialist (or democratic socialist) Utopia. "Why can't we be more like Sweden?" They still like to ask that.
Sweden had built up its wealth with caplitalism, had a homogeneous scociety with shared cultural values and expectations of proper behavior, and was shielded from heavy military expenses by the US.
Now, however, they've introduced a lot of poverty and diverse cultural conflicts, and may not have quite the wealth cushion to sustain socialism. Plus, the US under Trump is asking for Europe to pay more of their fair share.
Will be interesting to see what direction Sweden goes in the next decade and what happens to their standard of living and crime rates. And how they politically respond to these new realities.
I don't think there is any other direction but a muslim majority ****hole for Sweden now.
It will be a ****hole, but I’ll wager all the leeches will move along to the next group of retarded idiots who will volunteer to take them.
The beginning sounds good. The middle looks good. The end is always the same.
The left should have these examples leading their news feeds until they understand that this is what socialism always evolves into.
When I found out the pain in my leg was due to a bad hip, I looked for a forum to get some ideas on what to expect regarding a replacement. I was surprised to hear about half the people saying it would take months to see the doctor and years to have the surgery. i asked why it took so long and they all said they were in the UK and it was accepted that medical care took awhile.
Everyone I spoke to said they would rather wait and get it "free" than have our system where it costs too much. I asked if going through all that pain waiting was worth it....they said yes.
I couldn't believe it.
