I recently just purchased a g34 for a awesome price to be my new IDPA pistol. It is already modded, less than 100 rounds, but the only thing is the frame is stippled so not legal for ssp. What would be involved in swapping the frame with my 22?? I know they are the same frame, but can I just swap the whole trigger assemblies as well? The g34 has a competition trigger job already done and would want to keep that with the g34.

I'm not sure this is technically legal for SSP, as (at the least) this would not the original caliber. I think you are still ESP.

On the other hand, I don't think anybody would ever know, as the frame doesn't have a model/caliber marking. Someone would have to know the frame is a G22 (.40 S&W) from the SN. And there is no technical advantage over other SSP shooters in the swap.
