It's a Glock. Cheap and reliable. They were not meant to be pretty works art, just great engineering. Looks like it was a toolbox gun, hopefully not "stored" with one in the chamber.

Yeah I was sketched originally as well. Got it from a friend of mine who I trust. I asked a lot of questions, checked to see if it had been reported stolen and everything checked out

He needed something to carry. He had to sell his G43 and his wife’s EDC as well due to COVID layoffs.

Why don’t you call Glock and find out. I do know if you send it to Glock, you will get a reliable Firearm back, with all the extra internals updated; instead of an expensive Cerakote job that will possibly give you a headache later down the road.

    it’s your money however.

    Slide refinish = $45
Barrel = $20 or both together for $60
    Frame replacement = $100

I would contact Glock for a slide refinish, it's hard to tell about the frame in my pix. You can send the slide to Glock without any problems, Get a slide back that looks like new, good to go.
If you don't want to mess with it, I'll double your money, just send it here, and I'll send cash back, and Four Books of S&H Green Stamps. Lol

BTW - Glock sends, or at least used to send, the slides out to a third party for refinishing. They don’t do them in house.

Slide cost me $48.13 incl tax, Glock no longer does barrels, don't ask me why, they just don't.

Mine, last year G-23 and I sent a stripped slide, and got it back with new slide parts.

I am pondering “going all out” and then keeping her or then doubling my money. Where I live, Gen 3’s and Gen 4’s are going for up to like $700 or so and never get below $600. Used not new. Hell I had a Gen 4 26 that was one of the nicer Glocks I have had. The previous (original) owner had the Barrel, mag release, slide release, pins and all polished by a well know/highly recommended gun smith near me. Had a guy interested in a Springfield XDS-9 I had. He bought it at $450. Then saw my 26 and asked how much and I explained that, “this right here my babygirl man” lol, and I **** you not the next words out of his mouth we’re, “would $675 buy it??”

Then the next words out of my mouth were, “son of a b!7ch...” and agreed to sale. I have missed that gun more than any other firearm I’ve ever owned tho

Hate to tell you but at many a Correctional Facility, (Prison/Jail) weapons are put up in lovkers, drawers, what ever, and since its a tool, many a LEO turn in's have "Character", as many of mine do.
I would recognize my first issue a G-22 (MC092SD) anywhere, as my Safariland brown leather holster had a snap secured to it that slightly poked out on the inside and every time I would re holster a lil bit of the plastic trigger guard was shaved off, LT. Durham said not to worry about it, I put a square of duct tape over it, but that scrapped off pretty quickly from the sharp snap edge.
Wished I had it now. It is out there somewhere.

Seems to be more desire for the pistols gone than for those to come.
At least with me, I can name several I would like to have back.
