I have no idea who she is but I'm betting the farm that she's a died in the wool democrat/liberal/antifa supporter.

It will be interesting to see if she supports Trump’s pick after the election, since I expect she will lose. Blame Trump and vote ‘no’ or blame the lefties who voted her out and vote ‘yes’?

    Just do it.

Senators who vote against will have to expose themselves. Then their constituents will act accordingly. That's what we want. So at the end, the people have a say in it.

    To be fair and realistic,
do you really expect a Solid GOP coming from a blue state?

I always believe it's an oddity that she's GOP, in that context.

Susan Collins is a died in the wool Susan Collins supporter. She just would rather not have this happening right now, right when she's up for re-election. If McConnell keeps the ball rolling, she'll have to take a side. Ain't no sitting on the bench here ... well I guess she could get the 'rona. Yeah, that's the ticket!

Yeah, she blathered about fairness and didn't say she'd vote no. I'm betting she abstains before she votes no rather than give the Dems her vote.

Now lousy Lisa Murkowski and catcher Mitt Romney will vote no.

I would expect this from the Three Stooges, Romney,Collins and Murkowski. They hate trump and that will never change. They take Republican money but then will go against the Party. Regards to all on GT and be careful out there. I am now waiting for the S%&T SHOW on the replacement of RBG.

For Collins to get reelected by the crazy maineiacs she needs to go along with trump. She's being challenged like never before by democrat that would be far worse that Collins. If she pisses off the republican base she's toast. With her liberal challenger the liberals wouldn't support her no matter what.

It's really not an oddity if you're familiar with Maine.

Maine bounces back and forth. We had a republican governor before our current governor. A majority of the state, by land mass, votes republican. #****mills, impeach mills and other anti mills are very popular stickers and signs in places. I've lived here over thirty years and never seen profanity towards an elected official publicly displayed like I have recently, it's everywhere.

Locally I've also seen more presidential signs than ever before and it's easily 100 to 1 in favor of Trump.

There is only one Dem Senator in WV and it is a long shot that he, probably the most reasonable Dem Senator, would vote to confirm any Supreme Court nominee this close to the election.

What are you talking about?? Susan Collins won the Republican primary. She is running in the General election against a DEMOCRAT. Does anyone seriously think Trump would not support Collins versus a Democrat??? Sure, he would have to WANT to lose the Senate Republican majority and accomplish exactly nothing in his second term if he gets one.
