I paid $19.99 for a 2000 Wii Points card today for the kiddies. I then proceeded to redeem said points on the Wii shop channel and downloaded the Opera-based browser. We've gotten a kick out of the web on a wide-screen HDTV.

As soon as my daughter grows tired of her Hannah Montana and High School Musical 2...I'll check out GT on the Wii.

Oh, and it is pretty swift downloading pages and even text entry with the remote. Saving the favorites is the key.

    Way cool...junior!

BTW, you Wii owners should download the new system update; it improves on several things.

I don't know about the Wii but there is a browser available for the Nintendo DS Lite that also uses an Opera based browser. I just got one for vacation next month. I hope to use it instead of dragging a laptop along.

We use our Wii to browse the Internet sometimes. The kids like going to Youtube and checking out funny videos on the big screen tv. I also like the news and weather on the Wii.

Now I definitly need to get a wi fi set up.

Downloading games wasn't enuf of an incentive.

But widescreen wii porn sure is.
