Hi everyone, I'm a newbie glock owner and to glocktalk! :wavey: Lots of good info here, happy to join the community.

I have a Glock 19 purchased in 2009 new via regular retail, and was wondering if there's a way I can mount my Surefire 6P LED (with Malkoff M60 dropin) on the gun? It would definitely help.

Is there a mount I can buy to slap the SF 6P on my G19?

Sorry in advance if this is a dumb question :dunno: (ie, no way this can be done nor would anyone think of doing so), and thanks in advance for your help!

    Everybody Needs A G19!

    Congrats on yours!

As for mounting your SF 6P to your G19, there are, in fact, cast and machined components that will allow this; but by the time you pay for it all, you may as well buy a TLR-1 C4 and own a real weapon light. :headscratch:

At any rate, if you must pursue this, here's the cheapest solution I've seen:

You'll have to contact them and see if it's compatible with your flashlight...

Thanks, Ray. I thought that it wouldn't make much sense, but I really want to put that Malkoff to good use. Where would I find the components to let me look at the economics of mounting it anyway? And on the link you've provided, the SF mount is part of the mag? Wow.

    1) Any time!

    2) Let me do a search... I'll put the links below...

    3) If memory serves, it's a circle-clamp on the floor plate of the magazine.

You'll need to mount the flashlight 90-degrees left or right of the G19's accessory rail. Here's one solution, using two (or three) components...

This tactical light mount comes complete with both the Glock style and MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rails. The Glock style rail can be easily removed and a short section of MIL-STD-1913 rail installed for attaching a Surefire or other small flashlight by means of a standard ring.

This would be okay for bedside, but useless for holstering or concealed carry.

    Good luck! :wavey:
