What powders and bullets are we using? Mainly 38spl, 9mm, 300bo, and ???....
On the pistols I prefer smaller charges of faster powders, cleaner most times unless I am just spraying aroud a bunch of bullets. So generally N310, N320 but Titegroup can save a few pennys/100.
For 300blk I use H110/296 and 1680 more than others.
There are lots of powders that will work for them though and I have actually used the same powder in all 3 before, HS-7 but except for "major 9" it doesn't excell in them.
38 Special, 231 or TG.
45 ACP or GAP, Clays.
300 Whisper/BLK in autoloader, 1680 or N-110. Boltgun, N-340.
510 Whisper, N-110.
I don't change powder. I only use FMJ or plated for suppressors.
I've found around 5#s each N310 and N320 I can buy at cost from a LGS. Been reading the N320 is clean and quite in 9mm 147 grain. Not sure on the N310?
I use more N310 than N320, N310 is faster, N320 is pretty close to TG just cleaner.
Couldn't find any data for 147 over N310.
I have shot several pallets worth of berry's plated 147's with 3.1 gn N310 @ 1.160" OAL makes PF every time, all the time and is very soft. If you change any thing from above back off 10% and work back up. While it is the best minor 9 load I have found it has a high operating pressure.
I run TG with a 147 plated or jacketed for 9mm
38 spl....Unique with a 158 using what ever bullets i have on hand. Usually berrys, xtreme, hornady of some BB's
H110 for the 300 when i had one.
for 9mm, I run 3.9gr of CSB-1P under 147gr Precision Delta FMJ, cci500 primer 1.150 COL.
890-915fps thru my 10.5" UZI.
