Thank you so much, I will check it out right now
I just bought a Cole-Tac. Seems decent enough but it's my first cover. The buckles cinch it up nice and tight though I am wondering about the durability of the Velcro long-term. I'll probably rarely use it since when I go to the range the last thing I want is to have it take forever to cool down and I have a case for the silencer so I don't need the cover as protection when it's off the gun. Took about 3-4 weeks to receive.
OK so will I need a cover for my suppressor on a 300BO shooting up to 200 yards at coyotes with my 1x red dot? OK how about my 22 rimfires shooting 100+ yards rapid fire? Don't forget to post pictures!
Well, I went with the SAS-2 from T.A.B. Gear. Total price was $81.33
Suppressor covers are probably going to be like holsters. I will go through a bunch before I find one that I really like! LOL
NOT the same core I sent in for service. I guess they couldm't find a booster that would thread into it so they just replaced it.
That's the same core I've got in jail! Wonder if it will be the "new" 308 rated one? Thank you for the pictures.
So have you shot it yet?? I've been making test loads for everything I'll be suppressing. This wait sucks and getting expensive I've been buying host left and right!
Edit....have no idea why or how that picture ended up upside-down and I can't fix it!
Nope, I have not shot it yet, hopefully this weekend. There's been a lot going on and now I think I might be getting sick :-(. Don't worry, when I go there will be pictures and videos posted!
The weekends over......
LOL, I know, and I have not gone yet. My wife and I went to the gun show instead . I will try to go this week because the kids are back in school starting tomorrow!
Well look it's another weekend, we have a new leader, and you still haven't shot your new toy! You keep this up and I'll have mine and will give you a range report from the drive home from the shop.....I did pick up a Pelican 1170 case to store the suppressors and the 5 add adaptors. Seems like I have everything here but want I want most!
LMAO! . Listen here, mister, I am taking it to the range tomorrow! . I will post pictures and videos tomorrow as soon as I can. Trust me, nobody wants to try this thing out more than I do!
Please stay tuned.....
Sorry......just sitting here watching everyone but me getting their toys!
I know, the wait is torture, but you will have it soon enough. With Donald Trump as president there is now no fear of us losing our 2nd Amendment rights. Heck, we will probably even be able to buy suppressors as if it was a gun before the end of the year!
God bless Donald Trump and God bless America!
I have all the faith in him to take care of us and to get the HPA passed but believe it will take years then months to years for manufacturers to catch up. I pray for that day and that might just be my third buy when passed!
I read somewhere, I think it was from silencerCo's website, do not wait for the HPA to pass but instead conduct business as usual and start the paperwork now on whatever you want.
I've got 98% of my threaded firearms covered with the Mystic and Spectre and close to 2k invested and more in host as I wait....I need a break and hope it passes as I'm on my wait!
As promised, here are a couple pics and one video.....
Notice the FRP (first round pop) in the video? I can't wait to hear how that sounds out in the woods when we go to visit my bro and his wife in March.
All in all a good day but I did forget to clean my Glock and lube the booster piston . It was still fun and I will be going to the range again later this week.
LOVE MY MYSTIC X!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Makes my wait worse....thanks
For those of you that have a suppressor, how often do you clean it and how do you clean it? I know that the Mystic X can go in my ultrasonic cleaner. What is the recommended ratio of water to Simple Green? Thank you in advance
