Looking for quality stuff to watch since today's movies & the TV are crap for the most part.

I've seen an episode or two over the years, looking how many seasons are available it must have been good, at least for a while.

Worth watching for the entire series?

Worth watching Season 1 to season "xyz"?

    What say you GT?

    Thx in advance.

I've watched all but the most recent two seasons. I wouldn't necessarily call it quality television and if you're a Christian, you may be a bit offended by the later seasons. I enjoyed it, tho, and will eventually watch the couple of seasons I missed on Netflix.

It's good. Sometimes it's easy to get sidetracked while watching it but it's a hell of a lot better than some of the shows on TV.

Cool car, good music, occasional hot girl, the dude who plays Neegin is in it, and there is quality humor at times. The show had an appeal to a younger audience for a while, but it has been around long enough to have matured. You will recognize plenty of other folks from other things you have watched. I felt like the show took a season or so to hit a good stride. My only real complaint is the guys spend a bit too much time talking about their feelings.

It’s good, they aren’t being pansies for the most part anyways and the show started before PC culture really started affecting everything. There’s not a lot of leftist propaganda in it like with pretty much every new show that comes out today.

I think I started to watch that and dropped it; don't remember why. There are a few good older movies showing on one of the Over-The-Air channels called 'Movies!'.

I like it for what it is. Then again, I liked the X files. Sam and Dean are kind of the the more violent sibling cousins to Fox and Scully.

My wife and I begrudgingly watched it after my younger stepson recommended it. There are some weak episodes, but the main characters aren't beta males, and use guns (including illegal sawn off stuff) with frequency (particularly first 6 seasons).

I know it's been on forever, but I've never seen an episode. Depending on reviews here, I might give it a shot too.

I have recently watched the first season. It is no Westworld or Firefly, but it is better than I had expected. Will watch more.

We discovered it a few years ago on Netflix, binged the early seasons to get caught up, and have watched it ever since.

Basically, it's the "X- Files" with demons instead of aliens as the underlying mystery that carries the plot along from season to season. Like the X- Files, some of the best episodes are the standalone "Monster of the Week" episodes that take a little detour from the overall fight against Hell storyline.

They also do a couple of really funny episodes every season to keep it light, same as the X- Files would. There was an episode a couple of seasons back where the protagonists, along with their '67 Chevy Impala, got sent into an animated episode of Scooby Doo by a ghost, for example. Pretty funny stuff.

I wouldn't recommend taking theological or spiritual direction from it, but I don't find it overly offensive to my Christian sensibilities. YMMV.

Like most long term shows after several seasons it starts wandering and loses focus. But it's a OK show.

    Have you watched Lucifer?

It's a fantastic show, especially those first handful of seasons. Like most shows that run for multiple seasons, it's getting a little tired. I actually stopped watching a couple seasons ago.

    Still definitely worth watching.

My daughter is a huge fan (seems young women are it's primary target audience). I watched a few seasons with her, not bad. Like others have said, could do a hell of a lot worse.

First five seasons are outstanding! That's all the producers had originally planned and they're a great ride. I've kept up with the show thru most of the timeline, but need the last year or so to catch up. It's ending this season, so....bye to Sam and Dean!

I like it, over-all a good entertaining show

Basically two brothers (Sam and Dean Winchester) hunt "monsters" everything from demons, vengeful ghosts, werewolves, vampires, wraiths, ginns...even things from Greek mythology. They use guns, knives, machetes, swords

Over-all great story line especially the early seasons but it did get a little drawn out at times. It was supposed to be cancelled after season 4 or 5, the episode was even called "Swan song" but the producers listened to the fans and it is still here 10 seasons later.

My wife likes it for the eye candy.

I like it for the sweet impala.

I lost interest after a couple seasons. I have a 65 Impala in the garage.

The wife watched the whole thing. I guess that says something about me.
