Great choice. This film is another of my favorites:
I knew I should have invested in Metamucil stock all those years ago...
I read comic books as a kid, probably had every issue of Superman from about 1954 to 1958 but about 1959-60 when I was12 I started reading Hot rod, Car craft, and Road and Track instead. Then in the sixties, I read Zap Comix.
I've seen some of the latest comic book movies including captain marvel and the latest spiderman and went with friedns to see them and I couldn't believe how bad both those movies sucked.
However I did see two of the Iron man movies a couple of years ago and those were much better done. Also most of the new Star wars movies made after the first 3 just got worse and worse.
I am a longtime fan of comics and I have enjoyed most of the MCU movies.
Many of them are very well written and have clever dialog.
I am hardly a little kid. My favorite actor is William Powell and my favorite movie is the Quiet Man, but I very much appreciate the current run of comic book movies.
What's with the jerking camera, can't they afford a tripod?
That's cool, more for me to watch.

Including the latest spider-man movie, Spider-Man: Far From Home? If you appreciated that, there is something seriously wrong with your taste in movies.
I’m not a fan of the latest crop of superhero movies, except for the ones with Gal Gadot.
O. M. G!!
That woman can do anything she wants, to/with me.
Whip me. Beat me. Make me feel cheap.
Another great one. Winchester Films and produced by Howard Hawks.
Have not seen it, but I liked Homecoming.
To each their own. Glad they are making money, so they keep making the movies, but if some people do not like them, fine with me. Plenty of movies made and being made. Hopefully you find something you like.
I liked the Iron man movies but captain marvel was a big nothing burger. I've tried to like the comic book movies but they just aren't that interesting. There's many movies that I like, some are serious, some are just fun, but they need to have more to them than just special effects and loud noises.
Agreed. This is why I care very little for Avatar.
My personal favorite is Captain America: Winter Soldier.
Unbreakable. The only good super hero movie I have ever seen.
Now there is a show I cant watch... that entire genre of TV crime shows is terrible. Watched one episode of NCIS where they caught the bad guy by looking at the reflection in the victims eye off some grainy security camera footage. They just kept zooming in and enhancing over and over again until they could see an exact image of the bad guy.
At least the Super Hero movies dont try to be realistic.

I love Them!.
Marshall Dillion, Daniel Boone and Santa Clause fight giant ants.
Have not seen it in a while. Going to look for it.
I dont do super heros or genetic modified creatures or warewolves or vampires. Any comic book thing i have no interest . Most sci fi is not my thing, but alien was good. Even the yeti shows and tv stuff searching for things is not my interest.
Enemy at the gates... patton.. yeah i want to see it.
I hate how they work on the premises that each car model has its own non-interchangeable make and size of tire.
I will admit to not really liking, although I always watch, the Transformers movies. It seems like the entire movie/s are a blur the action happens so fast. I can't keep track of those robots on screen.
I've liked some better than others but overall I agree. Daredevil (the NETFLIX one...But I even liked the film) is terrific. The Punisher is probably the most down to earth of all the shows. Iron Fist and the Defenders the most sci-fi-y.
Fair warning, the whole state got axed. Daredevil has a very satisfying finale, Punisher does somewhat. Like Cage and Iron Fist end on cliffhangers. Haven't seen JJ S3 yet, but since they actually knew it was the end I imagine they wrap stuff up.
I also loved The Boys, it's NOT down to earth but it really does a cynical take on the whole Superhero thing.
