Jesus. If that's real, it's creepy. Not totally unexpected, but creepy. I knew security was tight, but that is REAL tight.

When I visited Washington DC back in May of 2005, I took pictures of the White House from the metal fence. It wasn't until later, while looking through them on my laptop, that I noticed (when properly zooming in) that there was a Secret Service Sniper eye-balling myself and the crowd surrounding me through a pair of binoculars, with his plainly-visible sniper rifle at rest pointing away from him and out to the "right" (what exact direction it was facing, I'm not sure; just that it was angled to the right of his body). It really put security into perspective.

I would hate to be one of the people they were aiming at.

You just think you are going to make that field goal.

Funny how these pictures got out, guess it's not like the super bowl will be at that particular stadium again. Seems a little off how they have their muzzles sticking out of the opening like that...

Most likely Indy PD. Not a Fed. priority. Note that IMO it is really bad logistics as it would be a helluva shot to the stands or field for that matter. Easily 700 yds. or beter and downhill with fishtailing drafts. He would have been better placed a lot lower & closer. :whistling:

Anyone notice that the trigger in the first photo appears to be blurred out?

Not even close to 700yds. The field is a bit over 100yds long. The sniper may be another 50-100 yards away. The picture gives the impression of greater distances.
