I figure this thread comes up every year, now is as good a time as any.. :)

We're going to my brothers, but we're taking a few things to help out...
    They're making Burgers, Brats, Hotwings
We're taking potato salad, fruit salad, baked beans
Another person is bringing drinks, but they are extremely unreliable given past experiences, so we're both picking up soft drinks, and knowing my brother, he's getting booze.. ;).

    Go Colts!

I'm making some Carrol Shelby's chili with habenero. My dad used to make it during Super Bowl time, so it only feels natural.

    GO COLTS!

We'll stick with our usual, steaks (filet) on the charcoal grill.

Edit: oops, forgot the rest. Baked patato, garden salad, potato salad (never get enough of that), and maybe some baked beans this year.

Yeah i'm going to my buddys across the hall at my apartment. I'm making a crock pot of chili. I'm making one of my buddys buy a ton of tostitos brand queso..and were going to dump that into another crock pot; which chips of course. I think another couple is making like actually somewhat healthy wraps and sandwiches. My other buddy is having talks of buying like 100 wings, which would be awesome. I wont be boozing, since i gotta work on monday.

That is it so far.....i think. Maybe the ladies have other ideas, who knows though.

go colts!! Although, if the saints win, i'll be happy for them. Brees went to purdue...the city needs it. It would be a good win to. I guess i'd be happy if either team wins.

Exactly what I'm making. Man, crock pot is the way to go. Turn it on low, set it for 6 hours...

Hot wings (I know, but always a favorite) sub tray, veggie tray. At the bar will be tequila 1800, crown royal, and something in a mason jar that will burn a blue flame.

And the game will be on my new 82" TV. The room isn't finished, but it will be christened.

Don't worry Mavs, I don't drink... so we'll both reflect on Sober Sunday on Monday afternoon.. :)

As for the Saints... man, if the Colts lose, I'm gonna be really disappointed, but once the disappointment wears off, I'm gonna be happy for the Saints.

I'll probably fire up the smoker here, get some brisket / pork butt / ribs or something like that. Smoke some potatoes, get some nachos with queso, some stuffed jalapenos or poblanos and we're good :)

Wings sound awesome, smoking them works too I presume?

Depends on who shows up. I'm going to a friend's party and everyone going is bringing something. I'm pretty sure there will be crawfish etoufee, blackened/fried alligator to snack on, gumbo, hot wings, and I'm sure type of animal flesh will be offered to the BBQ gods as well.

I'm taking some form of crackers with cream cheese spread topped with home made habenero pepper jelly and I'm thinking about making a couple batches of candied bacon.

There are lots of ways to make em. I usually slice a jalapeno lengthwise, seed it and membrane it, fill it with cream cheese, a little smokie sausage, put it back together, wrap in bacon and pack with brown sugar. Then smoke for three hours on 225. Here's the finished product. These things are ALWAYS a hit, no matter who the crowd is.
