As long as the Chiefs win I'll be happy. I think the Packers are going to have trouble with the Niners' defense this weekend.
I'm a Dolphins fan and AFC guy.
I'd also like to see Andy Reid finally win the big one and the Chiefs get their first title since '70, exactly 50 years (well, and a month).
Since the Patriots decided to start their vacation early this year, it really can't be called The Super-Bowl as it's kinda' like the Jay-Vee teams playing. I still want to have Tom Brady's babies.
But I'd be kind of interested in Green Bay vs The Chiefs, an old timer vs youngster match up. I'd like to see the Packers win, since I'm an old timer and my first football (S&H Green stamps) was a Bart Starr autograph unit. Plus the town "owns" the team.
I'm a Packer fan, so as long as the Pack gets into the Super Bowl I will be happy. But I think it would be cool to have a Packer vs. Chiefs Super Bowl, a re-enactment of the original Super Bowl 1 (which was not called the Super Bowl at the time). That outcome would be nice as well, with the Packers destroying the Chiefs.
For you young guys who were not around, the first two NFL vs AFL post season games were not taken very seriously. No one considered the AFL as a worthy competitor to the mighty NFL. But in the third such game, when the NY Jets (led by Joe Namath) were facing the seemingly invincible Baltimore Colts, and as predicted by Namath the Jets won, suddenly the AFL had credibility. This led directly to the merging of the two leagues into the NFL that we know today.
The Titans have been playing spoiler so far, but I'd really like to see the Chiefs make it. Any of these 4 teams could take the trophy.
Kansas City vs. San Francisco
I would not mind seeing the Chiefs win the prize but I wont be watching.
I'm hoping Derrick Henry and the Titans go far.
It's not flashy but I like an old school running attack
The instrument to measure my indifference to this has not yet been invented!
Unless you’re a hardcore fan of one of the teams, all these potential matchups sound really dull.
Well I'd like to see the Chiefs vs Forty-Niners. I want the NINERS to win, but if the Chiefs won that would be ok, both Reid and Mahomes are class acts. I really like the NINERS "D" and KITTLES is an absolute beast. It won't be easy to get to the SB for either of these teams, but if they both get to Miami then fans will be in for a big treat, the game probably would be a classic.
I have to go to two Super Bowl parties, so I have to cook two pots of something. Haven't decided yet, but I'm leaning toward chili.
Get a few of the big cans of Spaghetti-Os at Walmart, slice up some hotdogs, toss it all in a crock pot...wicked easy that even I very seldom screw up the recipe. Guys love it.
Cannot pull for SF. Go Packers! Cough...cough.
Chiefs are fun to watch. TN, meh.
There's a few players who I like to watch do their thing
And of course Derrick Henry... He's like Donald Trump bursting into a miss teen USA dressing room, you know it's coming, you just can't stop it.
Wish I could do that, but my friends expect more from me.
Now that I'm thinking about it, I won't get to the second party until halftime. So maybe a dessert would be more appropriate. I'll make a pot of chili for the first party and a peanut butter pie for the second party.
I could eat that now.
You can't go wrong with chili IMO
Heart says Packers vs. Titans
Head says 49ers vs. Chiefs
