Not overly thrilled with titegroup, suggest my next powder for 9mm..
Can't go wrong with Unique.
I also use WST.
Ditto. Unique is all I use for .40S&W, 9MM and .223 for the AR-15.
Good to see another Fireman here.
Winchester WSF, Ramshot Silhouette and VihtaVuori N-330 are good as it gets for 9MM.
I haven't loaded 9mm for very long, but I've had good results from Unique too. I use it for that, .45acp, some .45 Colt, .38 special, mid range .44 mag and probably a few I'm forgetting.
N320. Failing that, Solo 1000.
I will throw in my vote of Unique. I use it with 9mm, 40 S&W and 45 ACP.
I like Unique, but have switched over to Power Pistol though.
I use Unique for 45ACP and will one day 9mm. Just bought a keg. Heard rumors that you could use it for 223 - Motown Fire mind sharing your experience with it for that caliber?
Unique is great, terrific accuracy w/ all bullet types. I find WSF a bit better only because it meters better & is a bit cleaner. Universal also works well. Beware though, you'll have to use a tiny bit more powder than w/ TG but it is worth it IMO.
Purpose? Grain bullet? Power level?
To quote C4W (or as close as I can recall),
"TiteGroup is the old busted hotness, S-1000 is working on being the NEW hotness".
Can load 147s up to 130+PF no problems, and shoots SOFT as a baby's butt.
Seriously, what do you want it to do? And why do you not like TG?
I've been happy with Universal for mid range 124gr 9mm. I just tried it for 230gr fmj .45acp and think I might need to get a faster powder for .45. I'd hoped Universal would be my only handgun powder.
N340. If you can find it!
HS-6 is great rocket fuel (high performance loads).
Another Unique fan. The new Unique is much cleaner than the old Unique. If I could only have one powder for what I load, Unique would be it. I feel comfortable putting it up, knowing it WILL get used.
Practice ammo, 115/124gr bullets (I still have ~1k 115gr precision delta bullets to load), I'm not going to through out an arbitrary number for PF as if I knew what it was supposed to be, but normal WWB power factor.. I don't have a chrono so I really just go off felt recoil.
I guess I'm used to TG now so it's fine, but it is quite dirty, I was really hoping for something a bit cleaner a la WWB..
Bullseye. I use it in my 9mm, 45acp, & 45gap. Clean burning, accurate
I load 9mm using AA#7. I may try AA#5 once I run out in another 4-5k rounds.
