Been on somewhat of a HK kick lately, my last 3 purchases. I’ve handled CZ’s in gun shops, probably five different models, never shot one though. Not worried about weight, carry pistols are covered, would probably want something around a G19 / P30 size and probably hammer fired?

And this would be for nothing in particular.......and for everything, just want to try one! I guess the question is, for you multiple CZ pistol owners, what model would you use/choose/keep if you could only have one? Intrigued, I only hear great things about them!

    For G19 size you want a P-01. For G17 or larger a SP-01 tactical.

If I needed a HD/range gun only I'd go SP-01 tactical. I'd throw in some Cajun Gun works parts as well.

If I wanted something slightly more compact I'd go P-01 and either get the Omega version or a regular P-01 and also cajunize it.

The only "issue" with stock CZ's is the DA is quite heavy. You can fix that with a hammer spring change.

The P-01 and it’s CZ Custom variant, the SDP, are outstanding examples of CZ’s modernized Compact platform. If you like the compact size, but prefer the classic look, the PCR is basically the P-01 without the rail.

That said, the original 75 is always a great place to start.

I prefer safety vs decocker models. Since you mentioned weight was not an issue, I would go with a 75B unless you need a rail in which case an SP-01.

Have Cajun Gun Works work with you on the specs you are lookin for. They will build it from a stock pistol. It will be better than you can imagine.

Either a 75 or a P10. If you want double action, might as well go with a classic. If you like striker fired, P10

If it was a P-01 like the one below, grab it! Great pistol!

I would agree with the suggestion of P-01, or PCR if you don't need a rail. The PCR is my CCW:

I got to shoot with a local CZ rep. His personal CZ had been sent to Cajun Gun Works. I put a mag through it.

I cannot speak highly enough of Cajun’s trigger work.
