    I am getting a little away from shooting and spending more time hunting. I would like to read posts from very experienced hunters.
    Does anybody know of a forum that is populated by hard core hunters, particularly very close range stuff.
    Thanks.

    here ;)

    But alot of the sites nowadays, have some forum for hunting , archery talk muzzlerloader forum and tradgang all comes into mind when you mention close and hunting. This site have a few good tales and stories also from various folks and not solely gun or bow related.

    I 've always like MI hunting and haven't been back in years but I figure I would drop their site out;

    http://www.michigan-sportsman.com/forum/

    Since outside of Colorado and Alaska , I think MI is the number state for hunting various selection of games and fishing.

    just my 2ct and you will find alot of good discussion in this forum.

    I don't know if you bow hunt, but go to archerytalk.com and go to the bowhunter section. I've never heard from more deer experts than in that thread. Lots of those guys are the best I've seen. They'll slaughter monsters all the time.
