Otherwise Tuesday was a great day.

I guess buying votes is ok.

Anyway, now he says the people are telling him to work with the enemy... I mean the opposition. Why start now Harry? You didn't seem to concerned about it for the last two years.

It's not finished yet. Baby steps. Remember what US Grant said after a bad loss on the way to Appomattox. "Lick 'em tomorrow."

The Giant is awake. Let's keep him that way.

If you run a complete imbecile against another people usually vote for the imbecile they already know.

If Reid had not been re-elected, we would have had Chuck Schumer as Senate Leader. That may have been worse than Reid...

I'm trying to be optimistic but the one silver lining to having Ried as majority leader is that he said the anti gun legislation wouldn't make it out of the senate.
He also voted to permit handguns in checked luggage on Amtrak, and he voted to prohibit lawsuits against manufacturers and dealers.

I'm not making excuses for the other things he's done, I'm looking at the stuff he's done in support of 2A rights despite being a democrat.

I'm from NV. Sharon Angle was certainly no prize, but it would have been a couple years before she could start hurting the country. Harry can start again tomorrow.

Now that things have shifted, I hope we don't see revenge and investigations. The country doesn't have time for that. Both sides need to start working and playing well together. I know, I know. Just a crazy thought. :faint:
