Trying to decide between the G26 and the G19 for IWB Carry.

Which one would you get for IWB carry, does the 3/4 in diff in grip mean anything for IWB??

Plus, if I get the Pearce plus one extension on the G26 isn't it almost the same saize as the G19??

I personally like the G26 for IWB but I'm sure there are many who carry the G19. I suspect much depends on your size and how you dress. Here in south Texas, we tend to wear light clothing and seldom need a jacket so the smaller format makes sense for me. On the other hand, my son carries a .40 Glock in the mid size format without difficulty.

As for the grip extensions, I didlike them. Had a couple magazines with them but took them off because
they caused the gun to be less concealable. For reloads, I carry G17 mags.

pierce makes a +2 and a +0 for the 26 and yes its still smaller than a 19. The +2 is the same extension for the 27 and 33, only they're +1's for those. The +0 is smaller, you might like that. If you like the feel of the extension, you might as well go with the PG2733 and add the 2 xtra rounds, givin ya 12+1.

Here are a few threads with size comparisons:

I carried the G26 and the G19. I always carried with the Pearce +1 extention. I just could not stand not having all my fingers on the front strap. The part of the gun that prints the most is the rear bottom of the backstrap..so even with the Pearce extentions on the 26,its still 1/2 shorter... I finally just switched totally over to my G19 and never looked back. I conceal it just as well while still having a good grip and more ammo.

The difference in grip length of the G26 v G19 shouldn't cause any problems, when carrying IWB. I carry the G27 w/ G23 mags or G26 w/ G19 mags, in a MTAC, without "printing".

    My advice, get the G26.
The G26 can grow up with G19 and G17 mags.
    G19 cannot be smaller.

+1. IF I could only have one I'd spring for the G-26. You have so many options for mag capacity. When I pack the sub I don't use extensions... I just reach for the G-19.

The Sub can do anything the larger Glocks can do in a smaller package. Go for it.
