I saw mentioned in another thread once that the sub compact glocks have a set of night sights that only fit them/ designed for them.

are these smaller? anyone have any pictures? are they just as durable? which ones does glock put on the sub compacts if you order a new glock with night sights from them?

    thanks guys :)

    the smaller the better

They are the same as stock Meps except the rear may be 0.2mm difference in height.

.2? that seems like it would be a pretty pointless size difference. There must be a larger size difference then that

Actually, Meps are now available for the subcompact Glocks in a low profile model. These sweep back towards te rear of the slide to keep from snagging on pockets, clothes etc... Still 6.5mm but now just sweep back similar to a Novak or Heinie site. Hope this helps.

I think Glock now only installs "Glock" night sights in Smyrna. You can call and ask.

The 0.2 mm height difference adjusts the point of impact about 3 inches at 20 yards--geometry at work.

but it will still fire at point of aim like the regular ones correct? or am I missing something. Not getting caught on my clothing is a big concern though so that could be helpful.

I'm off to bed, but am looking forward to a comparison pic if anyone can get one

The Mep. sub sights give you a slightly longer sight radius. I use them on all my standard frame Glock's. As far as I know, they are the same height as the other's. Glock does'nt change the height for the sub's, I doubt Meprolight would.

Danny, they're not talking about different sight heights; they're talking about different sight styles. There's nothing "new" about the 10226 Meps for subcompacts. The pic below shows my G26 with 10226 Meps.

walther are these just as bright and the green glowing part the same size as the regular glock style ones?

Are they just as durable and still metal sites? If so I will definately be needing to order these instead of the regular ones that my gun shop has.

Would you possibly be able to take any better pitures of them and maybe even compare these to a set of regular ones?

They're just Meprolight sights with a profile designed for the subcompacts. The tubes are the same as any other Meps. They're steel, just like any other Meps.
