I just got an email from an IT consulting firm we've been dealing with asking for my email address.
Ignorance is a pathetic trait.
And my bosses are wondering why their code is crap.
My favorite is when someone rings my phone, I answer and they ask for John Smith.
I inform them that they have the wrong number.
They ask, Well, do you have John Smith's number?
Yeah, I'm directory assistance.
I give them your number
unless it's for a different mailbox... I would strongly be considering firing them, or at least hiring another to audit their work. That's some next level stupidity.
How I would respond...
There are so many issues but some of my bosses back then 100 %
That's Dilbert worthy.
Probably just not much of a word smith and just wanted to know if that was the address he should be using in an official capacity or making sure it was actually yours.
Is the IT department staffed with hot chicks in short skirts? That would make this acceptable.
I can't even pronounce the dude's name.
But is the dude hawt?
