Strongest light system for our Glocks

I'm looking to find a light that will mount on my G17. There are so many systems to choose from, I'd like to know what works best. This is not for carry, so I don't mind the size all that much....I don't want a big and heavy light, something that is of decent size but is super bright. Maybe even a light/laser combo.

Who makes the best/strongest light systems for our glocks? Mine has a rail. I'd like to be able to adjust the light beam if possible as well. Any pointers will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have a REALLY crazy idea.

The best new one is the new surefire that costs as much as your glock :)

I have a TRL-1 and love it. It's plenty bright to see stuff in my Apt.

Just checked out Surefire's site...that X400 looks perfect!

Would you rather have Surefire's X300 AND a Lasermax guide rod...OR...Surefire's X400, where the laser is adjustable, but further down from the barrel?

Are the light beams on these Surefire's adjustable? Thanks for the help guys.

+1 Passive. I have a TLR-1 on my 21SF and on my AR-15. Their new C4 model is super bright (135 lumens) and OMB Express (GT Sponsor) has them for 99 bucks, can't beat it! :supergrin:

I have one on my G21 house gun. Wifey helped me test it out, after a nights sleep the white ball she was seeing disappeared.

The TLR-1 is suppose to make 130 lumens, but it did over 150 out the front lumens in MrGman IS Sphere at CPF.:wow::wow::wow:

Did I mention I got it for $79.99 delivered at police supply during their sale a couple months back. This is one tought light. I have to unscrew the bolt almost all the way and then pull it off wit h effort. This light was made right and is arguably the best value out there right now.
