...triggers on infamous cheap plastics pistols.
IMHO I don't like any, but for a carry gun I'm not picky about it. Just give me the stock CZ P10c or some Glock of course. I don't feel entirely comfortable with the PPQ light trigger neither with the lazy-slow resets on VP9 & APX.
My absolute fav polymer carry gun?
    That's another story:
    The undisputed CZ P07

    Preferences?

Of the strikers I shoot Glock best.

For me it's all about the reset. If it's not short and crisp it's a deal breaker.

For carry, I'm fine with a lightly tuned Glock. I take them a lot further for production.

Unless it’s a precision rifle or target pistol,I don’t care about the trigger. It’s a switch to make it go bang. Learn it, and use it. I highly doubt in a dynamic situation anyone will notice break or reset. However, a gamer gun might be a different story.
To answer the question about preference, mine is whatever it came with.Glock, m&p whatever. They all work.

Glock 21 Generation 3 has about the best out of the box trigger, the G17 Generation 4 about the worst. Taurus TX22 and SA Hellcat are very good, I don't own any guns with very bad trigger's, I don't send them out, I sell them out. TX22 G17.jpg

I totally agree. The triggers on a Glock, a Taurus and a Kahr are completely different, but we can get decent with any of them. And when someone is threatening to hurt you, it won't really matter which trigger you have - though it helps to be very familiar with the one you carry.

The best I have ever tried is my Sig P320 X-Five and it's twice as good as that with the Gray Guns competition trigger kit installed.

Striker triggers have grown on me. The p10f i have is great, consistent 4.5 lb pull and decent reset.
My g43x is pretty good for a small gun, i can make good hits.
I dont feel a ppq is too light. Trigger cant pull itself, get a holster.

My P320 X5 Legion trigger is not horrible unless you compare it to the Apex triggers I put on my M&P M2.0s.

It's just not for me, if polymer Walther I prefer the P99 for other reasons. About the PPQ seemed to have some more muzzle flip than the others in the same category.

I have tested stock, Apex and Gray for the P320. Apex was not noticeably better than stock. Gray is WAY better.

I was going to make a post about this tonight but I’ll just add to this thread. I’ve had Glock pistols since 2008, my first being a Gen 3 19 with factory night sights.

I took my CCW class a couple of years ago and am now scheduled to get my permit in May. After some reading here I decided to get a Glock 26 for carry. I bought one on Gunbroker from New York. It came with the NY2 trigger. At first I was pissed. It wasn’t in the description and I didn’t think to ask. I spent time dry firing it and took it out back tonight and put some WWB through it. I don’t mind the NY2 and after reading a post on a ND while removing a 43 I think a heavy trigger wouldn’t be too bad for me.

The Gen 3 19 seems to have got lighter with use. I don’t care for my father in laws Springfield XD Mod2. Of all the guns I tried and rented before buying Glock felt the best to me.

I haven’t got into the revolver game and I’m not sure I can afford to.

I like my flat Apex trigger in my Gen 5 19, and G45.

Thanks, I'll try the Gray for my X5. If it was 1/2 way between stock and the Apex in my M2.0 I would be happy...

I prefer the trigger on the CZ P10C to the Glock triggers. It feels alot better and I shoot more accurately with it. Not that I'm bad with the glock, it just takes more work.

It really depends on its intended use. I like a Glock's trigger for carry, but its no target trigger.

My Arsenal Strike One has a nice range trigger on it.

I hope not to catch to much flack for this being a Glock page but my best small 12 round capacity carry and most of everything else pistol is ,,, and after a couple of mods is the most accurate out of four other 9mm is My Tauris G2's (Mom has my other one), the only thing was cast bullets i make and powder coat myself... I had to really shorten the coal and lighten the charge for a 152 grain soft lead flat point made out of old power cable lead jacket,, when it hit a stack of wet old paper magazine at 10 yard it left a hole through seven of them you almost could have dropped a golf ball through.

    Trjggers are subjective.
    For Carry:
The Walther P99AS has a excellent trigger, in particular when you ride the reset.
    For Range:
MY tuned Walther PPQ M1 5 inch.
