This has been going on for the last few days, and I can't make much sense of it.... I'm getting a very warm, almost burning sensation in my calves. When I touch my legs, their temp appears normal. The feeling is definitely "inside" my legs. It gets very hot though.. yesterday I was sitting at my computer playing a game, and it literally felt like my leg caught fire and I thought it was my PC.. Now I'm relaxing in a bed w/ the laptop.. and its doing it again(also watching True Lies.. never saw it before.. :)).

I'm not doing any different exercises that would cause this, so I'm sure thats not it. No fatigue, shortness of breath, chest pain, etc.. I feel fine. So I fire up Google, and really didn't find much, other than a possible neurological condition, which wasn't explained or named.

    Any ideas?

I've actually found interesting stuff on the internet regarding medical conditions, but you're right.. it should all be taken w/ a grain of salt.

It could just be cramps but I would go see the doc. He/she may indeed say itomputer leg cramps. Good luck.

Not diabetic, leg circ. seems fine(no weird colors, etc.). I'll probably go to the doc if it keeps up. Neuropathy is a possibility given some history I've had.

I have the same issue in my left thigh. Will sometimes go numb, is on fire, and occasionally feels like someone is digging into it with a rusty spoon.

Doctor told me it was a nerve being pinched in my back. Maybe try sitting up straight and see if it helps.

Well, I had a prob w/ low potassium years ago and got some intense leg cramps.. but this isn't nowhere near a cramp. It feels like someone lit a campfire, and I'm just sitting to close to it.

How old are you? Old enough for varicose veins?
What is your walking or running exercise like?

I don't really have any of those symptoms, other than hot legs.

Thanks though, I'd not saw that one.

Sheeple, it might be menopause, I'll get back to you on that.. :)
