Man, I hope the rider is o.k. If I could get up after that, I wouldn't think twice about beating the $#!* out of that driver. Toataly inexcusable. I hope the biker gets paid WELL for that rubbernecking dumbfu@* behind the wheel hitting him. Although, alot of money still won't bring justice to the situation. Seeing stuff like that makes me cringe, 'cause I've been there before.

Boy, how much more could you ask for in a civil suit...

You got both a cop and a video for backup. gixxer11 is right, I hope he sued the poo-poo out of the truck driver. No excuse is right.

    Hope he's okay.

Looked like he saw the truck coming and started standing up. Good thing he flew right, looks like the bike went under the truck to me. Didn't look like he had a helmet on though.

I'll be he faired pretty well, and he'll have one heck of a nice bike!

Oh man, that's some BS!!! I always keep my motorcycle in first gear at the stop light/stop sign and keep an eye on the rear view mirror just because of craps like this.

    Aftermath...

The rider lived. Road rash on upper left shoulder. Looks like he had a pretty stiff neck too. He was riding an Indian.

I was rear ended at a stop sign and the driver was drunk. Was alcohol involved in this?

Doesn't trashing an indian qualify for the death penalty? If it doesn't, it *SHOULD*!!! :(

It was a "new" Indian. Now, if we were talking a 1953 Chief I might tend to agree with you. ;)
