Well guys, I decided to get a Romanian 1975 GP ak. It comes with black polymer furniture which i assume its American made (tapco probably) that looks pretty crappy. I have a wooden romanian stock set with the forward pistol grip laying around the house and I would like to put it on the rifle. My question is would that affect the parts count and make it illegal?

Possibly, those rifles have us receivers and barrels, and as long as it has a tapco G2 in it, you are doing good, since that will equal 5 parts, now if it has a muzzle attachment, then that would be the next easiest thing to change to get the 6 parts. If the muzzle just has a welded nut then you only need 5 parts are should be G2G.
