Can I put a 3.5# connector in my G17 and compete in stock class?
You may use a factory 3.5# connector since it is made by Glock.
It seems like my first response is confusing to some folks in hurricane country, so here goes again:
Yes, you may use a factory (Glock) 3.5# connector in your G17 in all GSSF categories that allow a G17 (Am/Civ, L.E., Competition, Stockmeister and Unlimited.
You may not use an aftermarket (non-Glock) connector except in Unlimited Category.
Hope this response is satisfactory, N.D.
Oh No; did someone wake up that evil ND again? And we are not even at Conyers yet. ND; behave or I will sick "Foamy" on you again.;f ;a ;a ;a ;f
how about bomars?;f
dtom this is for you:
Don't tread on me - As I understand it, Bo-mars are legal in stock class if you don't make modifications to the slide. The GSSF website specifically said "no burried bo-mars".
I'm not going there LOL
I am sick and tired of this Bo-Mar thing being brought up over and over again, especially from those that know of the history here during the last 14 months. It's been beaten to death. Let it rest in peace.
lighten up! If TJC posted it everyone would have seen it as humor, which is how it was intended!

dtom, my comments about GSSF are NEVER meant as fun. They are meant to offend and insult certain people. PLEASE, don't take them as humor. Thanks.
Remember all, GSSF is fun.;e
An open memo to all concerned:
I do not consider the topic of Bo-Mars one of humor. In July 2001, at Harvard, Massachusetts, the subject came up at the GSSF match. The ensuing discussions here on Glocktalk resulted in the termination of several friendships. It hurt me greatly to see friends end their friendships over the issue. GSSF made a mistake, and it hurt many of us. The mistake has been corrected, but the painful memories linger on.
As moderator of this forum, I read every single post. Most I like, some I don't like. I usualy keep my mouth shut. It's time to move on to other issues, like getting the opportunity of masters to win two pistols per match restored.
Let the Bo-Mars Rest in Peace.
I won't bring it up again! I did not know friendships came to an end over a sight being legal or not for competition! But I'd have to ask, "was it really a "friendship" if they ended over something so trivial???"
