Hi Can I put a Gen3 34 barrel into a Gen3 Glock 35????
Yes you can but it is not a good idea at all! The lug is the same, so that part is not a concern..... but the 9mm barrel is .020 smaller on the hood and diameter when compared to the 40 barrel. Do you think that extra material is there for your protection?
I have seen a few YouTube videos featuring shooters doing this however you have to ask yourself: What do I have to gain"? It will fit (sort of). It slops around in the slide for sure. Conversion barrels are readily available and cheaper than a standard factory barrel.
Just because you can do something does not make it advantageous
Thanks for the facts. I had a chance to get a 34 barrel cheap but knowing the dimensional differences I am now looking for a conversion barrel. Thanks for your help.
