I have been running a Magpul MOE+ rubber grip with storage for awhile, and really like it. The rubber construction of the grip provides a good feel, and the storage aspects are nice, especially with the dedicated battery/ammo/bolt compartments.

However, I wanted to try something different to get more than just 2 CR123 batteries in my grip. I ordered a BCM Gunfighter Grip Mod 1. I really like the hinged floorplate and the interior storage it offers. I dislike, the smooth profile of the grip. I found the texture on the side panels less aggressive than it should be, and the smooth faces on the rear of the grip to make for a slippery grip.

I like the grip angle and profile and size. I just wanted something 'grippier'. I tried my hand to stipple the grip, and here's what came out. It's aggressive. It feels great in the hand. I think I like it. I will try it for awhile and see how it goes.
