one of these will be my next pistol, any owners with good or bad exp.?
Never held a Stinger but the CQB Compact is saweeeet.
Don't listen to Hokie he doesn't even own a 1911
Yeah, what do I know? Not much.
CQB Compact, everyone knows the more word that are in the model name make the gun better.
Love the Wilsons but some of the model names are too long IMO.
CQB Light-Rail Lightweight Professional
CQB Light-Rail Lightweight Compact
Ultralight Carry Sentinel
I still vote CQB
They are long, but its not like they put them on the gun.
CQB hands down! We have one with the stainless upgrade for sale right now. And yes Im still taking the CQB minus the sales plug
LOL sadly enough ours doesnt have the 2 1/2 inch lettering.
Daily CCW or just because?
For carry/competition; Stinger. For Range/showing off; CQB.
I've had both; still have the Stingers...
Pretty much sums it up IMO, but you gotta' shoot the Stinger in, as LB's are as tight as they say.
What did you not like about the WC?
<-----Has a Wilson. Has desperately wanted a Stinger for a very long time.
When the time comes for me to get a Baer it is going to be a Stinger.
I vote Wilson, and I LOVE my LB TRS. Wilson just makes a better gun.
It's not that I did not like the Wilson; in fact, it was my favorite CCO style until I got the Stinger. I just like the way the Stinger feels and shoots. It's purely a subjective determination on my part, but the Baers feel more substantial. How's that for a scientific analysis?
Either will serve you well. The Stinger will save you a few hun.
BTW - I still have a CQB-E. Had to keep a token Wilson around to keep the Baers company...
Don't get me wrong, as I like Baer's and love my TRS. But Wilson's are more refined. As for accuracy, I realize that Baer has a 3" @ 50 yard guarantee. But Wilson has a 1" @ 25 yard guarantee, which equals 2 " @ 50 yards. The fit and finish of a Baerv is NOT what a fit and finish of a Wilson is. Period. I know you're are LB fan, as am I, but as an owner of both and a shooter of several, I believe that in this case, you get what you pay for. Wilson's cost a little more, but they're a little better.
