    Mga Sirs,

Can an STI Recoil Master be used on a Para Ordnance 16.40?

Yes, you can use an STI Recoil Master. Make sure it's the Heavy type since the Light types are for Open guns. Si Singlestacker have a recoil master in his STI, haven't seen it fail on him yet. I also have the Light Recoil Master in my open gun.

Allegra, yung STI recoil master yung may double spring. Although i don't have any idea how it works. :)

    hahahahaha

Kaw talaga , for all we know , Vergemann is a great shooter na nageexperiment, pahiya tayo.

Newbies in shooting ( not talking bout Vergemann ha ) should be inquiring about the cost of good training instead of accessories , ammo blahblah blah

I'm not sure pero i think the STI Recoil Masters are for pistols (1911 and 2011) with bull barrels only. So, kung naka bushing pa yung P16.40, baka di umubra.

Thanks for the inputs mga sirs, i am building a new gun kasi, i am collecting parts pa lang, can't decide what to order from shooters.com, the recoil master or the egw tungsten guide rod.

SInce the weight reduces the recoil flip which to me is more important than reducing the recoil back that the recoil master gives. ;f

p.s. I have the EGW tungsten guide rod in my standard gun. :)

i have a recoil master in my para-ord standard pistol. i also have the egw tungsten guide rod which i interchange. it feels the same with either one. mas ma-flip with a regular steel guide rod.

    personal preference lang.

the tungsten guiderod reduces the recoil but I read somewhere that the tungsten reverseplug is not a good idea since the reverse plug is a moving part that means more moving weight which makes a more unstable force.

did I make sense? anyway just my 2centavos

Ditto, when you add weight to your pistol you want it to be static.

if i'll make another pistol, i'll go with heavy long dustcover frame, heavy barrel (tungsten sleeved or bull barrel), with a lightened slide for fast cycling

I shot the 50 meter prone 5 shots ata or 6. I hit 2x10's 1x9 and and 8 or 2. Dont remember na it was boring;g using my gun of course with 175 pf.
